MILITARY ONE-SOURCE

Military One-Source, both a call center and a website, provides comprehensive information, referral, and assistance on every aspect of military life 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to all component members of the Armed Forces, their family members, and survivors. Explore resources to help with, spouses education and career opportunity programs, mental and emotional well-being support, financial counseling, family and parenting resources, relationship building and more.

Coast guard Mutual Assistance

CGMA is the official relief society of the US Coast Guard. While CGMA works closely with the Coast Guard, it is an independent nonprofit charitable organization. The CGMA mission is to promote the financial stability and general well-being of Coast Guard people through interest-free loans, grants, and financial counseling.

National Military Family Association

Scholarships for military spouses pursuing career, certification programs, and education goals.

2026 Scholarship season deadline is April 1st. Annual scholarships are available for children of Coast Guard members, including graduating from high school seniors and students already enrolled in college or trade school.

Coast Guard Ombudsman Program

The Coast Guard Ombudsman Program purpose is to function as a communication link between the command and families, providing information resources and referrals to assist unit families.

Office of Work-Life Programs

Spouse employment Assistance Program (SEAP) is intended to assist spouses overcoming the difficulties associated with finding employment, especially during the relocation process. It provides comprehensive and standardized employment information and services at Work-Life Offices throughout the Coast Guard.

Computer access, reference library, General employment information & Resume assistance.

If you don't live near a Work-Life office, many services, such as coaching and resume reviews, can be done via the phone or email.
